We provided bid support to Cityheart and Rise Homes at competition stage, offering advice on costs, programme and design.

We then continued to work with as residential operators representative on this landmark scheme which comprises of a 14-storey purposely designed building including 70 one-bed and 126 two-bed fully furnished, spacious apartments in the heart of the town. The development also includes 6 commercial units and a private garden for residents.

We worked closely with all partners including TfGM, Stockport MBC ad GMCA. The scheme completed in May 2024.

“MM Management Services were engaged as Employer’s Agent for The Stockport Interchange.
Multiple parties were involved including Transport for Greater Manchester, The Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Stockport Borough Council, Rise Homes, CityHeart and The British Strategic Investment Fund.
The scheme was high cost due to its many challenges – 16 storeys with two basement levels, abutting a bus station at one level, a park above, and a bridge that connects the bus and railway stations that runs alongside the gable end of the building.
 MM worked tirelessly to act as the main point of contact between the various parties and also the main contractor, Willmott Dixon. They managed the monthly project board meetings efficiently and diligently and their reports were always of a high standard. Their service was never questioned. Thank you MM!”
